Oral Exams and New Patient Exams in Calgary

At Hamptons Dental, we’re pleased to welcome new patients of all ages and dental needs. We invite you to book a new patient appointment and to come a few minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork to welcome you as a patient to our clinic. Once you’re in our system, we highly recommend annual oral exams to check on your dental health and goals.

What to Expect During an Oral Exam

Oral Exams involve a comprehensive evaluation of your oral health by our dentists. During your exam, they’ll check for cavities, signs of gum disease, oral cancer, and other dental issues. They’ll also ask what your concerns are to provide recommendations for a healthier, happy smile. Whether you’re coming in for your annual check-up or haven’t seen us in a while, we look forward to seeing you.

Welcoming New Patients of All Ages

A new patient exam is similar to a routine oral exam except that it is made more thorough by including a full medical history review. Our dentists will want to establish baseline documentation of your dental health for future comparison. This may include dental imaging and an extensive interview of your oral health concerns or questions. We take our time to ensure all new patients feel looked after and welcome in our Calgary clinic.
